SBL makes its way to LOS ANGELES, CA

Ive been on a HUGE project for the past couple of weeks!! Making custom SBL Bows for a certain JOYCE BONELLI!!! Bonelli is a celebrity make-up artist, known to beat the gorgeous faces of Holly Madison and the KARDASHIAN family, amongst many others!!! I tweeted her weeks ago showing her a mock-up sample of an SBL hairbow I was in the process of making for my first photoshoot with graphic designer/photographer KAIYOON. Needless to say she tweeted back and we went from there. I was BEYOND nervous, you guys because let me say this was where my next journey would be taking place and I would be sending something I cherished to LA!! AND this was THEE JOYCE BONELLI!! Today she finally got the bows! SEVEN to be exact... WOW right?! Her gorgeousness immediately took a twitpic, and with one of my faves of the seven I may add!! WOOHOOO!!! This is such and amazing feeling!! *ps the hottie in her arms is model Hanna Beth* Ok Im going to go scream now... Kisses xx

Grammy Award winning songwriter and record producer Bryan-Michael Cox' new R&B artist Bertell is who you should look out for this year! His new song 'Headboard' is HOT you guys...HOT!! I had the pleasure of styling one of the leading ladies & one of my best friends Evette Holyfield for the shoot! I had an amazing time, met wonderful people and of course, Evette looked AH-MAZING!!!!!!! The first look is a black Herve Leger- inspired bandage dress, stunning crystal accessories and royal blue suede booties (the shoes were HAUTE); The second look was a gray metal/mesh cut-out dress, gun-metal and crystal accessories and gray stacked zipper pumps... Very sexy, very hot!!

Interview with KP Fusion!!!

HELLO LOVERS!!!
I was asked by the awesome KimmiePooh, fellow wardrobe consultant and fashion blogger to do a question and answer interview for her blog KP FUSION!!! I was honored when my roomie and friend Kaye McCoy approached me with the news! Of course I was a little nervous because this was my first official interview, so I wanted to make it sound great! But, KP did a great job and I am delighted to share it with you guys!!

I have to tell you guys, this interview is a great start to my journey on my BIG MOVE TO LA!!!! WOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!! And the countdown begins, my loves. For a couple months now I have been so determined and busy in continuing my freelance sketching career, building my portfolio, working at an amazing woman's boutique, and designing and making jewelry before the move!! *Those who doubt my drive and work ethic really don't know me very well* hahaha!!
But anywho!! I am gearing up for my official product photo-shoot at the beginning of March with graphic designer extraordinaire Kaiyoon! You guys know I HAVE to work with his amazingness again because he shot my HAUTE headshots and they were super DOPE!!

Trust me guys things are only going up from here and I'm so excited to share this journey with you!! Thanks for staying with me... LOVE YOU! xox

Sexy Sophisticated... Enough said. Bandage, High-waist navy skirt, Loose cotton/lace top (very cute, casual, but is 'dress-up-able), High Royal Blue pump. And you KNOW i loooooove accessories. Bangles, a nice long funky chain necklace, and no or simple earring, & hot 'sun-blockers' (dont wanna have crazy wrist action AND necklace AND long or big earring= too much!!) Pair it with a nice blazer for a professional dinner (lose the necklace) or take the jacket off and add the necklace for a sexy night out with the girls or dinner date! Ok... READY SET STYLE!!!

The distressed denim has been on the fashion radar for quite a while. It has popped in and out of the scene. But if you have that pair that you aren't sure you can pull off? Go for it!!! A distressed denim can be paired with a hot blazer, layered and/or beaded tanks, scarves, handbag and a pair of boots or pumps! Not only can you treat it as rocker chic, but pairing it with a basic, ruched sleeved blazer can dress it up for a nice dinner, with a beaded top can dress it up for a night out with the girls... So dress it up! Layer! Make a Statement!!

Don't know what to wear on the date with the hottie that unexpectedly asked you out? Here are some pointers...
* Nothing to wear for the janky weather lol? Get that summer dress from the back of the closet and pair it with boots and a hot leather vest!
*Accessories are a must in this case! Whether simple or bold, you want to make a statement!
*You dont always have to be matchy matchy!! In fact matchy matchy is a no no! (But if you have gold, chocolate brown, beige, ivory, tan, etc tones, and correctly pair them together, you've got style!!!!)
*High necklines may look better with a longer necklace in most occasions
*If you have a big trendy ring you want to rock and some random wrist action, wear the wrist shpiel in one hand and the ring on the other...
*If you go crazy with the necklaces (wearing more that one to layer), wear small stud or no earrings
